No Throwback Thursday today. Let’s live in the moment, shall we? Here is my official preview (plus a few in process stills and a nice shot of the shimmering gold ink I used) from 5FINITY’s upcoming Babes of the Dead, Dia de los Muertos pin-up girl themed trading card set! I did a few ultra detailed sketch cards that will be inserted into a few lucky card packs. I can’t wait for the official release so I can show all these girls off! I’m rather proud of how they all turned out and was a little sad that I had to let them go. My only regret is that I did not have the time to request a larger set of blanks to work on. 😄😄😄
Skeleton Keys For Joanna
A friend of mine commissioned me for a dainty little skeleton key tattoo for her wrist. She had 3 specific Celtic Knots she wanted to worked into the design. I work a little larger and scale down with tattoo commissions (and especially with black line art) to make sure the design doesn’t get too heavy. I include a full sized print as well as an intended size print and in this instance I did a full sheet of size options (which now that I look at it makes a nice artsy print lol). Buyer also receives a high res JPEG for further sizing adjustments.
This will actually be Joanna’s second tattoo from me. In just a few days she is getting my Rainbow Bleeding Heart inked, at which time she will schedule an appointment for her skeleton key. 😄❤️
